Sharks Start Swimming In
Today the Worcester Sharks announced that center Tom Cavanagh and right wing Brock Hooton have been assigned to the Worcester Sharks training camp, which begins on Monday. Players are schedule to report on Sunday and will have a team meeting at night before hitting the ice.
Last year Tom played in 65 games for the Sharkâs top affiliate scoring 10 goals and recording 21 points. Tom was selected by the Sharks in the 6th round of the 2001 entry-draft. Tom spent 3 years at Harvard University before joining the Sharks organization.
Brock was originally selected in the 5th round of the 2002 draft by the Ottawa Senators. He attend St. Cloud State the past 4 years where he played in 143 games for the Huskies scoring 62 points. He was signed to an ATO during training camp.

Ashton Rome, who was sent down to Worcester a little of a week ago, signed a 3 year deal.
